are getting a salt craving, grab some vegetables and dip them in low calorie
salad dressing or yogurt. The fruits and vegetables are full of fiber
and fiber helps you to feel full. This is one of the many reasons that
they are emphasized so much in terms of healthy eating. In addition to
healthy eating, you will have more energy and be able to adhere to your
healthy eating plan more easily if you get moving.
By fitting in lots of movement during the day, you will rev up your metabolism
and lose more weight then if you just watch how you eat. In addition,
exercise will improve your health a great deal even if you don't lose
weight. The more often you move, the more you increase your metabolism.
If you are sedentary, get up once per hour and walk around, walk or march
in place or stretch for 5-10 minutes. This small increment of movement
done hourly will help you to lose weight without you having to officially
exercise. You'll be suprised at how much your body responds to this small
bit of movement if you haven't been active lately. However, you need to
get it into your head that you are actually going to move around more
and eat fruits and vegetables as snacks. You can do this by really making
up your mind to do so.
Every morning as you get ready to leave the house and every evening before
you go to bed, focus and quiet down your mind. With a clear head, affirm
your healthy habits and your commitment to losing weight. Where the mind
